Why did I create Find Your Mojo?

Find Your Mojo is about redefining what it means to be healthy. For years, I believed health meant pushing harder, doing more, and punishing my body in the name of discipline—something that was often praised and labelled as “healthy.” But beneath the surface, it wasn’t sustainable or truly supportive.

Through my own journey and self-work, I realised that real wellbeing comes from a very different place: not punishment, but nourishment.

That shift changed everything.

That’s why I created Find Your Mojo—to help others reconnect with their bodies, build a more compassionate approach to health, and create balance that actually lasts. At the heart of this is my Hexagon of Healthy Habits, a simple, holistic framework designed to support both physical and mental wellbeing.

Because true health isn’t about extremes—it’s about alignment, sustainability, and feeling good in your own life.

That journey inspired Find Your Mojo and my Hexagon of Healthy Habits—a simple framework built around sustainable wellbeing rather than perfection.

My ethos is simple: come exactly as you are.

Rest never has to be earned.

Nourishment, not punishment.

About Me
Hi I'm Jo

I’m the founder of Find Your Mojo, a space where movement, mindset and wellbeing come together to help people nourish themselves, rather than punish themselves.

For nearly two decades I've worked as an accountant across corporate, not for profit and charity organisations.  Alongside my career in finance, I've followed my passion for helping people prioritise their wellbeing in a way that feels realistic, compassionate and sustainable.

As a qualified fitness instructor, foundation life coach and trauma sensitive practitioner I create welcoming spaces where people can build strength and reconnect with themselves.

But my biggest qualifications haven’t come from courses—they’ve come from life.

I’m a wife, a mum to two wonderful children, and like many people, I’m learning to balance work, parenting, caring responsibilities and everything in between.

Along the way, I’ve also realised the importance of parenting myself with the same compassion I so freely give to others.

For years, I believed being healthy meant pushing harder, exercising more and constantly striving. From the outside, I looked healthy. On the inside, I was disconnected from what my body and mind truly needed. Through my own experiences with mental health and burnout, I discovered that wellbeing isn’t about doing more—it’s about creating space to slow down, reconnect and build habits that genuinely support you.
